Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Foundations of Finance ("the club", "we") is a student organization at Amherst College. This policy describes what information this website collects and how it is used.

What we collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you submit through the join form: your name, email address, class year, and any optional interests or message you include. Nothing is collected from you just by browsing.

How it is used

Form submissions are delivered to the club's leadership (Sam Scullion and Yash Gupta) so they can add you to the mailing list, share meeting times, and grant access to the member resource library. Your information is used only to run the club. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are processed by Formspree, the form service this site uses, and delivered by email to club leadership; the site itself is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Submissions are accessible only to club leadership. The member resource library is hosted on Google Drive, and access to it is tied to the email address you provide.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set cookies and does not run client-side analytics or tracking scripts. If the club enables hosting-level analytics in the future, that measurement is aggregate and server-side and does not identify individual visitors or set cookies.

Third-party links

This site links to external services, including LinkedIn and Google Drive. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.

Your choices

You can ask at any time to be removed from the mailing list or to have your submitted information deleted. Contact club leadership through the club's LinkedIn page or reply to any club email, and we will handle it promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
